Dog Parkour Fusion

Dog Parkour Fusion blends elements of human parkour like balancing, climbing and crawling with other dog training disciplines such as obedience, tricks, hoopers and Tellington-touch to form a fun fusion of quirky urban style agility.

We’ve developed a series of different outdoor challenge levels, that take you and your dog through an exciting new journey of discovery and adventure together.   You can find out more information at our official site  www.dogparkourfusion.com

The first  ‘Foundation Course’   is a short course learning the basic core positions, postures, and skills needed to start and progress your journey throughout the levels.    Graduation of this course then opens doors to both the Intermediate and Advanced Parkour Fusion classes and Challenge events.

Introduction to Scent Detection &
Super Sniffers Progression Club

A Five-week scent detection course for domestic dogs as a fun learning and bonding experience, while providing life enrichment.

We all know that sniffing is an activity our dogs love. A huge part of their brain is focussed on sniffing and 70% of their communication with each other is olfactory. The act of sniffing and detection is hugely self-rewarding for dogs. Why not help your dog use their nose and enjoy playing games in detection and problem solving to improve mental stimulation and provide enrichment in their lives?

The Introduction to Scent detection 5-week course includes:

  • Teach your dog to search and indicate a chosen scent

  • Carry out pipe and bag searches

  • Learn to detect one scent in the Introduction course and a further 2 different scents in the Super Sniffers Club.

  • Able to search, detect, indicate and retrieve objects and scent.

  • Great mental stimulation and enrichment for your dog

  • Learn all about your dog’s amazing nose and how to use it

  • Build a stronger bond between you and your dog as you work closely together on their favourite activity

  • Taught by UK Sniffer Dogs Instructor Louise Breton

  • Graduation into the Super Sniffers Club - an ongoing weekly club where we fine tune your dog’s indication, building upon scent skills at your own pace, introducing new scents and having fun with weekly hide and seek-scent exercises.

Sport Instructor

I provide scent and parkour fusion classes for Walkies & Waggietails.

I am a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor (KCAI) , UK Sniffer Dog and UK Parkour instructor

I joined the Dog Agility Coaching team 7 years ago  as part of a mentor programme through the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme.  Paula and I later collaboratively created Dog Parkour Fusion, which is a new form of quirky urban agility.  I am also qualified as a UK Sniffer Dogs Scent Detection Instructor.

I teach UK Sniffer dogs courses and the Dog Parkour Fusion Courses.

After a scary number of years climbing the corporate ladder in the travel industry, I decided there was more to life, and it was our newly adopted Hungarian Vizsla ‘Bosco’ who helped me to realise it.

I was lucky enough to be able to give up sitting behind a desk every day and start enjoying adventures with Bosco and start working with dogs.

As an adopted dog Bosco came with all sorts oquirks and taking Paula’s Walkies & Waggietails Junior Class helped me bond and understand him more.  We went on to study and complete our Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards.  I then went into the mentoring programme at Walkies and Waggietails to become a KCAI instructor and qualified in 2022.

My husband runs a dog walking business and I have spent the past 5 years immersed in all thing’s dogs. It is an excellent way to study pet dog behaviour and body language.
