Dog Agility

Drawing inspiration from equestrian show jumping since the 1970s, agility tests a dog's physical agility, speed, responsiveness and intellect while navigating a variety of agility equipment for dogs, including jumps, tunnels, weave poles, tyres, long jumps, see-saws and A-frames.

As dogs master obstacles and skills, their confidence grows, leading to a happier and more well-adjusted pet.  Participating in canine agility classes or agility competitions also exposes dogs to new environments, people, and dogs, aiding in their socialisation skills and life experiences. All kinds of breeds, shapes and sizes are capable of agility.

Agility requires dogs to think quickly and problem-solve, promoting mental sharpness and providing a fun and engaging way for dogs to keep fit and improve their physical fitness and dexterity. Working together as a team, dog agility strengthens the bond between you and your dog, fostering trust and communication while undergoing challenges and obstacle courses together.

Engaging in dog agility is great fun and provides an opportunity for you and your dog to acquire valuable skills together.
